Trip to emergency room and migranes
hi all
Well i did wind up going to hospital last night.Arrived there at 9:20 and got home at 3:10 am! That was just the most ridiculous thing i have been through in a while. When i arrived there were 2 others waiting,2 hours later i was checked and asked what was wrong and 30 minutes later taken back and then 20 minutes later i was given a shot of demoral and Finnegan and something for inflammation.Still have not saw a Dr.!wow,,ok,,,
at 2:40 the Dr. came in and 2 minutes later was gone and left me a lortab and a prescription for Finnegan and lortab and released at 2:45.He said in 2 minutes my problems were stemming from a migraine!he checked my pulse, listened to heart ,turned out lights and checked my eyes very quickly,I wonder how much that will cost me and my insurance company!
I know people are busy,,but when u are a Dr. or something like that and getting paid well ,shouldn't you at least try and make sure you do your best,,Same thing you expect from anyone doing a job!You are depending on this person though to make sure something serious isn't wrong. Then the bill is sent to insurance and they are charged for ALL this time you are there and you have received no real care...That is why our insurance is so high we can barely afford it!

snow flurries and headaches
Hope all your chritmas's were happy! I had a great christmas ,all my kids and grandkids were here. They all opened up presents here that morning and then we had a large lunch spread of traditional items. It was cold and snow flurries fell on and off all here in south alabama as well as yesterday.Very unusual for us,so much for global warming! It is still very cold here, hard freeze warning ,temps in the teens expected.
last few days i have had problems with my head,,Headache and just a very strange feeling on the left side.Feels like a raw place, even tingling at times.Been doing this for about 5 days now.I don't know if it is a severe sinus infection or what,,kinda worries me to be honest.
What if any are your plans for the new year?Mine will probably be spent with the grandbabies so the kid's can do something. My son and his band will be playing in crestview Florida for a show there, hubby probably go too.
I would like to wish all of you a very happy new year and a safe and blessed one,,

Magic of Christmas~Through the eyes of a child
HI!
Hope everyone is doing great and hope u enjoyed the eclipse last night.I was just too tired but several family members and friends did and they all said it was beautiful!
I have 4 of the 5 grand babies tonight and just walked with Kolby age 5, and charlie Mae and summer ,age 2,down the road. This dear lady and gentlemen up the road has their whole yard adorned with beautiful Christmas scenes .They have placed a moving Ferris wheel with darling teddy bears taking a ride,Santa is in the hot air balloon ,a beautiful nativity scene,my batteries in the camera died very early in,uuhhhh ,but i was able to get a few pics.He also has a choo choo train fixed for the kids to pull around the yard outlining the scenes. It was just beautiful I hope you get a chance to take your little ones and enjoy Christmas scenes as well...I love to see the magic in their eyes.I wish i could have captured when we got to baby Jesus, each child leaned down and hugged Jesus and said i love you..Precious..Jesus loves the babies!!!! They love him too if given the chance...
MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL

Tonight's Eclipse of the Moon and Winter Soltice
For the first time in 372 years, the winter equinox and a total lunar eclipse happen on the same day, and North America is one of the best spots to view the show.
What causes a Lunar Eclipse ?
An eclipse of the Moon can only take place at Full Moon, and only if the Moon passes through some portion of the Earth's shadow. The shadow is actually composed of two cone-shaped components, one inside the other
. Colors and the deepness of the shadow on the surface are affected by the type of eclipse, local weather conditions, atmospheric conditions, and the geographic location of the observer, tonight across the USA we should see a coppery red color..
Total Lunar Eclipse
And for those of us whom would like to photograph the eclipse, here are a few tips.
If you have a point-and-shoot camera with a zoom lens, zoom the lens out as far as you can to get the highest possible magnification.
The minimum focal length for getting a good-looking Moon picture is about 300 mm.
Photographing an eclipse may require exposure times 4 to 1,000 times longer as compared to recording a normal full moon.
Here is some great info on photographing an eclipse! just click .. http://www.mreclipse.com/LEphoto/LEphoto.html
So make sure u bundle up and be prepared to be up late. The view promises to be worth it..share any pics you may get..have a great day everyone..

What causes a Lunar Eclipse ?
A lunar eclipse happens when the Moon passes through the Earth's shadow. Earth always has a shadow, which is created by the Sun. On those rare occasions when the Moon, Earth and the Sun are all lined up just right, the Moon passes through this shadow. This would happen every full moon if the Moon orbited around the Earth in the same plane as the Earth orbits around the Sun. The Moons orbit, however, is tilted about 5 degrees above the Earth-Sun plane. This tilt itself, however, rotates, allowing eclipses to happen when the tilt of this plane lines up with the Earth-Sun plane, blocking sunlight. |

Total Lunar Eclipse
The entire Moon passes through the Earth's umbral shadow. During the time of totality the moons color may change to a dull copper tone, an effect caused by earth shine or reflected earth light. The moon can stay in the umbrals shadow for as long as 90 minutes. |

Sushi Roll Recipe
I am a huge sushi lover,so i came across this recipe and wanted to share,,,ENJOY!!!!
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup uncooked short-grain white rice
- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 4 sheets nori seaweed sheets
- 1/2 cucumber, peeled, cut into small strips
- 2 tablespoons pickled ginger
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 pound imitation crabmeat, flaked
- In a medium saucepan, bring 1 1/3 cups water to a boil. Add rice, and stir. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes. In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar ,and salt. Blend the mixture into the rice.
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). On a medium baking sheet, heat nori in the preheated oven 1 to 2 minutes, until warm.
- Center one sheet nori on a bamboo sushi mat. Wet your hands. Using your hands, spread a thin layer of rice on the sheet of nori, and press into a thin layer. Arrange 1/4 of the cucumber, ginger, avocado, and imitation crabmeat in a line down the center of the rice. Lift the end of the mat, and gently roll it over the ingredients, pressing gently. Roll it forward to make a complete roll. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Cut each roll into 4 to 6 slices using a wet, sharp knife.
Notes:
Traditionally the rice is soaked in water to soften it, then cooked with a piece of seaweed (for flavor). A mixture of vinegar, salt, and sugar is poured over the hot cooked rice, and then fanned until shinny and cool.
- If you do not have a bamboo sushi mat, the easiest way to roll the sushi is to use a clean dish towel.

USE BAMBOO INSTEAD OF ALUMINUM PAN for much better taste!!!!
